1967

CEO Carlo Baldassarra created Greenpark Homes, along with partners Jack Wine and Phillip Rechtsman. Under Carlo's guidance, Greenpark quickly became one of Canada's largest homebuilders. Carlo further led the company's successful expansion into commercial and high-rise development which has cemented Greenpark's legacy as one of Canada's most trusted builders. Today, Greenpark Group is wholly owned and operated by the Carlo Baldassarra family and has delivered over 80,000 quality homes to families around the world.
2003

Founder and President Nicholas Fidei started Treasure Hill and has since built over 10,000 homes. Treasure Hill takes raw land and builds award-winning spaces where residents live and flourish. From the very start, Treasure Hill stood out in the industry because Nicholas insisted that the standard Treasure Hill home would always be comparable to other builders’ upgraded models. It was from this idea that GT USA’s GENIUS program stemmed from.
2020

The grand opening of GT USA was launched in January 2020, and was created to combine the ingenuity and pedigree of two of Canada's most prolific and trusted builders. Later that same year, Doug Bruk was asked to join the firm as its COO to lead and build their team, develop and execute a growth strategy, and acquire and title land. The company’s guiding principle is simple – identify highly sought-after areas which will both cater to and allow for a premium product that not only enriches the larger community but also acts as pillars to the new GT Homes brand.

Chief Operating Officer

Doug Bruk

As the Chief Operating Officer for GT USA, Doug is responsible for the firm's acquisitions, business operations, and implementation of strategies to achieve and surpass sales, closings, profitability, cash flows, and other objectives. Doug has over 20 years of leadership experience in homebuilding operations, with work experience throughout the Southeast as the COO at Kolter Homes, Toll Brothers, WCI Communities, and Bayswater Development, a Carl Icahn company.

Sandro Torchia

Sandro serves as Director of Construction for GT Homes USA, bringing extensive expertise in overseeing complex residential and commercial projects. With over three decades of experience managing large-scale construction initiatives, he brings seasoned leadership skills while ensuring seamless project coordination, rigorous quality standards, and operational excellence. His role has been instrumental in Greenpark Group and Treasure Hill’s success across the United States. He has been a trusted partner to the GT Homes USA development team for many years.

Trevor Barrett

Trevor specializes in the acquisition, underwriting, and capital sourcing for master-planned, single-family communities, multi-family, condominiums, hotels, offices, and retail projects. Trevor has nearly 15 years of experience in finance and real estate development and has closed over $2 billion in acquisition, development, and construction loans. Before joining GT USA, he worked for both Pebb Capital and The Kolter Group as their Director of Capital Markets.

Jennifer Chen

As the Controller for GT USA, Jennifer oversees all accounting and financial reporting functions of the company, including the creation of accounting policy and procedures on accounting management, financial reporting, treasury management, audits, and financial system controls. Jennifer has over 20 years of extensive accounting experience, with work experience at Centex, D.R Horton, Mill Creek Residential Trust, and Lennar.

Carlo Baldassarra

Carlo Baldassarra is the Founder of the Greenpark Group of companies. Greenpark Group specializes in residential and commercial construction that spans across Canada, United States and Europe. Carlo is led by a passion for success and a commitment to family. Carlo Baldassarra emigrated to Canada from Italy in 1958, at the age of 19. His first job in Canada was as a carpenter but his skill and leadership immediately set him apart rising to company foreman within a few months. Possessing a keen business sense and an understanding of the value of hard work, he was able to turn those qualities into unrivaled success in the real estate development and construction industry. A decade after arriving on Canadian shores, Carlo created Greenpark Homes, along with partners Jack Wine and Phillip Rechtsman. Under Carlo's guidance, Greenpark quickly became one of Canada's largest home builders. Carlo further led the company's successful expansion into commercial and high-rise development which has cemented Greenpark's legacy as one of Canada's most complete and trusted builders. Over the last decade, Carlo has spearheaded Greenpark's expansion into Europe and the United States extending his legacy and bringing the total number of families living in a Greenpark home to over 80,000. Today, the Greenpark Group is wholly owned and operated by the Carlo Baldassarra family. His inspiring vision for the Greenpark Group, coupled with his strong leadership, has created a dynamic and growing organization focused on developing and delivering quality real estate projects around the world. At his core, Carlo is a man who has always put family and community first. He has been married to his lovely wife, Angela, for 58 years; and their three sons, Mauro, Armando and Michael have followed their father's lead, working as senior executives in the Greenpark Group. Going forward, Carlo's insights and experience will continue to guide the Group's development, ensuring that the values of integrity, loyalty and hard work continue to define this extraordinary enterprise.

Treasure Hill Founder

Nicholas Fidei

Nicholas Fidei is the founder of Treasure Hill and Treasure Hill Commercial. In addition to residential new home construction, Treasure Hill's Commercial Division builds and operates several commercial plazas throughout the Greater Toronto Area in Canada. Nicholas grew up with a family background in real estate and construction, and was inspired from an early age to embark on an entrepreneurial career path. He learned that two of the most important ingredients to success are a clear vision of what you are aiming for, and the ambition and passion to go for it. The drive to succeed and do whatever it takes – which means hard work and a very strong work ethic – these are the essentials that Nicholas relies on to spur him on to accomplish greater things. Nicholas took this drive and started Treasure Hill in 2003 and has since built, and has in development, over 10,000 homes. As a land developer, Treasure Hill takes raw land and builds a fresh community as they see fit not only creating award-winning spaces in which people want to live but also cultivating well thought-out environments in which families can flourish. From the very start, Treasure Hill stood out in the industry because Nicholas insisted that the standard Treasure Hill home would always be comparable to other builders' upgraded models. Giving purchasers upgraded features which were included in the purchase price set the Treasure Hill brand apart from its competition. Nicholas' long-term goal for Treasure Hill is to remain a leader in the industry. He understands that today's purchasers continue to grow in knowledge and sophistication and as such, they demand continued excellence and uniqueness in approach. At the heart of all Nicholas' choices are his loving family and his lifelong commitment to continue to give back to the larger community in which he lives and works.
